ZANSHIN

It explores the Japanese martial philosophy of Zanshin, a Budo term meaning “complete awareness” or “focused presence.”

Yomi Nakaya
Alex is from Los Angeles, California. He started judo at the age of seven in Japan and has trained and competed at the highest levels in Judo and Brazilian JiuJitsu. He holds a third degree black belt and a brown belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu. He currently lives in Fort Lauderdale pursuing his life as a martial artist, personal trainer and actor.

Daniel Gonzalez has been acting professionally for over 30 years. He is extremely happy to be part of Dojo.

JOSUE DEPREZ

I am a former Olympic judoka and a self-motivated professional successful in seizing viable opportunities for expansion and innovation in Judo and Fitness. Background in increasing athletic performance training for every individual and transforming students into top athletes. Experienced in leading and coaching individuals towards their highest level of athleticism.
RICK ACUNA
Yakuza
Rick Acuna was born in Colombia and raised in Miami, FL. Born on November. 21, 1982. With a background of Judo from his Sensei and Father, began training at the age of 12. Currently holds a Shodan degree. Competitions include State champion and National tournament participation. Still active in competition.

JUSTIN HARRIS
Yakuza
I grew up involved in many sports and martial arts such as wrestling, kickboxing, brazilian jiujitsu, and judo. My time training in various martial arts brought me to the world of stunts. As a stuntman, I was able to work on the set of Iron Man 3 and for Burn Notice. I'm very passionate in what I do and I'm looking forward in expanding myself in the industry!
CHRISTOFER AGUERO
Elias Da Rosa
I grew up in Miami, FL and have trained in many martial arts. I have training in muay thai, brazilian jiujitsu, judo, and noxing. Taking theatre classes in high school was when I had an interest in becoming an actor. Getting involved with this film has been a big stepping stone in my career as a film actor.

Yakuza
Joe is a Miami native and is a lieutenant firefighter for the City of Miami. He is a judoka and mixed martial artist and has been practicing Judo for the last 17 years at Baragua Judo Kai where Jon also trains at. He came into this film with a passion in the arts and a drive to create a masterpiece alongside with the rest of the community of judokas.
JUAN VILACOBA
Alfonso Lucas
Juan is a black belt in Judo and has been practicing martial arts for the past 40 plus years of his life. He is a Veterans National Champion for USA Judo and has been practicing Judo at Baragua Judo Kai alongside Jon since he was a child and is a devoted artist himself who has previous experience in film/tv.

JON PAUL

Jon Paul was born and raised in Miami, Florida, where he started practicing Judo at the age of 6 with his sensei and father. He is a two-time Judo national champion, a bronze Pan-American medalist, and a two-time world team member for USA Judo. He found a passion for film and storytelling during his time training and competing in Judo while traveling to many international countries such as Japan, China, Korea, Germany, Italy, and Morocco to name a few countries. He is currently working on his next project which is the feature film to cover the full story of "Dojo" in greater depth.
MOISES PEREIRA

Moises Pereira was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is a pianist, film composer and a music producer, who has been working with some heavy weights in the music industry.  Former Sony music producer and Grammy Award-Winner Walter Afanasieff, Denice Graves, Former Moscow’s philharmonic conductor Algis Paulavichus. Moises has arrangements that are emotionally charged, intense and emotional.
